| BTL recognition program |
![]() BTL now has 150 partners from Wollongong to Bega and in the Wingecarribee and many of those partners are starting to make a real impact on their energy, waste and water bills. To show that leadership and to inspire other businesses to start on a sustainable journey, during 2010 BTL will be running a BTL Partner Recognition program A specially designed plaque will be delivered to each business partnering with BTL. The plaque is personalised with the business name and contains six cogs of achievement.
These cogs represent: • Commitment – you have joined BTL and have an action plan • Measurement – you have your baseline data and send data through to BTL
• Communicate – you have planned and sustained communication about sustainability with staff, customers and or suppliers • 10% savings- you have achieved 10% savings in waste, water or energy • Leadership – your business displays best practice or innovation Cogs will be sent to you, to insert into your plaque when achieved A major print advertising campaign is planned for April 2010 and November 2010. BTL will be taking out a full page advertisement in every newspaper from Wollongong to the Victorian border and the Wingecarribee Shire, listing all BTL partners and the number of cogs achieved. We’ll give you lots of warning before each ad is published, so if you are close to achieving another cog you can get across the line before publication. We will also be running a WIN BTL Heroes Advertising Campaign BTL has partnered with WIN TV to run ‘Hot Seat’ 60 second mini- documentaries on the individual achievements of BTL partners. The spot will feature just before the WIN national news and again before the Late News on each Monday night. Each 60 second ad will be filmed at your premises, featuring your business and your achievements. BTL will subsidise the first 20 partners formally committing to these ads. |
