Ecological Footprint
content_image4.jpg

The Ecological Footprint refers to how much biologically productive land and water a population (an individual, an organisation, a city, a country, or all of humanity) requires to support current levels of consumption and waste production.

The Ecological Footprint illustrates that, as a global community, we currently need about 1.2 planets to meet our average resource consumption levels.

There are many online calculators that measure your ecological footprint. Try a few to see how your lifestyle impacts on our planet.
